As part of HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood’s academic residency program, you will be seen by resident physicians. Resident physicians are doctors that have completed an accredited medical school, received their Doctorate, and are pursuing a three year educational program in general internal medicine.
Attending physicians who have passed their board certification with the American College of Internal Medicine will work alongside the residents within the clinic and be available for all consultations and needs that may arise.
As residents graduate through their program you are transitioned to a new resident provider. We will always try to keep you with your same resident throughout your care but if you provider is unable at the time you are needing your appointment, another provider will be able to seamless care for you and your health needs.
